Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Unload and load freight from trailers, containers, or trucks (often heavy or floor-loaded).
• Break down shipments into manageable units and separate SKUs.
• Sort and organize freight in designated warehouse areas.
• Prepare pallets by stacking, wrapping, and labeling products for storage.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and dollies.
• Inspect freight for damage or defects and report issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow safety guidelines.
• Document shipments and communicate with warehouse staff or drivers.

Required Skills & Traits

• Physical strength & stamina — frequent lifting, carrying, crouching, and standing for long periods.
• Hand-eye coordination for moving and positioning goods accurately.
• Listening skills to follow supervisor instructions.
• Organizational skills for sorting and staging shipments.
• Ability to work fast in high-volume environments.
